WHO WE ARE

Mark Mahan has been living in Italy since 1992, emmigrating from New York City where he started serious cycling in 1986. Beginning in 1994 he started working as a guide on cycle tours and has never stopped. During those years he has worked with ex professionals such as Andy Hampsten, winner of the Giro d’Italia in 1988, Connie Carpenter (1984 Olympic Gold Medal) and Davis Phinney ( USA pro with most career victories), Colleen Cannon (Multiple winner of Iron Man triathalon) and Alex Stieda (1986 Yellow Jersey wearer at the Tour de France). He has also organized and led his own tours since the late ‘90’s. In these years he has worked with groups numbering as many as 130 cyclists (65 tandems) and as few as one rider, designing custom tours for friends and families as well as bike clubs and teams.
Claudia Uhr is living closed to Munich, she is a cyclist in her second season and after cycling tours in Italy with Mark she is “infected”. After sport and teacher studies and some ways round she went to Munich and is working for a puplisher house. There she is responsible for Public Relations and events. With this experience and her weakness for cycling she is the contact person for German Speakers.
